Hilton Fort Collins
For four years, the museum has honored notable supporters, who have contributed significantly to not only the museum but to the arts and cultural life of Fort Collins with the designation masks Honorary Chair. To pay homage to the founder of the museum, the honor was renamed the Roz Spencer Award. The museum’s board of directors and staff are please to announce Gwen Hatchette as this year’s recipient. The Roz Spencer Award will be presented at the Masks Gala on April 21, 2017.
This year’s gala celebration features a small plates dinner with seven exhibition-themed food stations relating to past exhibitions at the museum including: Frida Kahlo: Through the Lens of Nickolas Muray, Norman Rockwell’s 323 Saturday Evening Post Covers, The World of Jan Brett, Andy Warhol Prints from the Cochran Collection, Marilyn: Celebrating an American Icon, Chihuly Venetians and our iconic Masks exhibition. At each station there will also be silent auction items and Masks for sale related to each exhibition. Also available for fun purchases are a wall of liquor and SWAG bags. The evening’s highlight is the program to honor Gwen Hatchette, beginning with a dazzling display of desserts. We hope that you join us.
